Fly Fishing Utah - Guide Flies

Guide Flies:
Once a month we'll feature a new "guide fly" tied up by one of our guides. These flies are original creations and are usually the HOT fly to be fly fishing in Utah this time of year.

Stillwater Scud:

Hook: Size 12, standard straight nymph hook
Thread: Gray 8/0
Tail: White CDC fibers
Rib: Gray thread 8/0
Overcase: Clear plastic from ziploc bag
Body: Gray sow/scud dubbing picked out and trimmed
